Every Great Journey Begins With A Single Step
We know the hardest part of the yoga practice is getting started and we pride ourselves on offering a class to suit everyone’s needs. Our yoga classes range from gentle (Yin, Stretch & Restore, and Yin/Yang) to beginner-friendly, more athletic and vigorous vinyasa styles (Spirit 1, 1.5, 2, and 2.5), all centering around intelligent, functional, and breath-focused movement. We also offer beginner-friendly meditation and mindfulness classes. We recommend starting with a gentle or Level 1 class, and we hope you’ll reach out to us for any questions with getting started!
Vinyasa Based Classes
Spirit 1 (New to Yoga, All Levels)
Spirit 1 introduces the fundamentals of vinyasa yoga with an intelligently designed sequence of poses that is accessible to new students and allows the more experienced practitioner a chance to explore and master the intricacies of each posture. This class allows students to enjoy a well-rounded physical yoga experience at a steady, mindful pace that allows for a strong connection of body, movement, and breath.
Spirit 1.5 (Beginner/Intermediate, All Levels)
Spirit 1.5 builds upon the foundational poses of Spirit 1, allowing students to further deepen their physical practice. This class is paced moderately and includes more complex breath-to-movement sequences. Intermediate and even advanced poses will be incorporated into the sequence, though all teachers will offer modifications for less experienced students. More experienced students will be given the option to explore advanced movements and poses.
Spirit 2 (Intermediate/Advanced)
Spirit 2 encourages students to challenge their physical practice and strengthen mental focus. This class moves at a quicker pace while still respecting breath-centric movement and is sequenced to move from foundational poses to advanced expressions. Each class is focused on preparing the body for a specific intermediate or advanced peak pose, though modifications and variations will be given for less experienced students. Although challenging, this class is accessible to all students with some yoga experience in yoga.
Spirit 2.5 (Advanced)
Spirit 2.5 challenges students to find more athletic depth in their practice. This class moves at a quicker pace while still honoring the link between breath and movement. It is sequenced to include a variety of and advanced poses and transitions that encourage high levels of physical mastery of strength, flexibility, endurance, stabilization, balance, and grace.
